We are building the AI layer for mortgage origination, alongside lenders who are using it on live pipelines. If that sounds like the kind of problem you want, read on.
We are early and deliberately small. That means the distance between noticing a problem on a customer call and shipping the fix is measured in days, not quarters. There is no product committee to route around, and nobody here is more than one step removed from a real loan officer or processor.
It also means the work is unglamorous more often than not. Mortgage is a business of edge cases, and getting them right is most of the job. We would rather do the boring thing correctly than the interesting thing approximately.
Shipped and working beats designed and discussed. We care much more about what you have actually put in front of users than about where you did it.
The answer to most questions here is sitting in a real pipeline or a real conversation with a processor. People who go find it outperform people who reason about it.
This is a licensed, regulated business handling people's largest financial transaction. Knowing which corners can be cut and which absolutely cannot is a core skill.
Half of this product is language, and all of the coordination is. If you can explain a hard thing simply in writing, you will be effective here.
Full-stack, comfortable owning a feature from a customer conversation through to production. You will work across the application, the integrations with lender systems, and the AI layer that prepares the work. Experience with messy third-party APIs and data you do not control is worth more here than framework preferences.
Someone who has run a processing desk or a production floor and is tired of watching software get it wrong. You would sit between our customers and the product, decide what correct actually looks like in an origination workflow, and hold the line on it. Deep origination experience matters more than technology experience.
Selling into mortgage banks and credit unions, to owners and production leaders. This is a consultative sale to people who have been disappointed by technology before, so credibility in the room matters more than volume of activity. Mortgage or fintech background strongly preferred.
We do not post roles we are not ready to fill, so treat these as directions rather than open requisitions. If you are excellent and none of them fit, write to us anyway. We have made room for the right person before.
No cover letter. Send a short note about something you shipped that you are proud of, and why it was hard.
